About Me

Hello, my name is Dimitri Lavin. I am a recent UNC Chapel Hill graduate in Computer Science and Mathematics. I am aspiring to become a software engineer that is able to show my passion for problem solving, love for team work, and desire to work with new upcoming technologies. I am seeking for remote full-time job opportunities that will allow me to display the skill set I have developed in front-end and back-end development. Project One (Under Development)

A game of tic tac toe that allows you to play against another user! Through implementation of a websocket, users can play against one another while also being able to text chat in real time.

A sudoku puzzle solving program that backtracks to solve any solvable sudoku puzzle. Any sudoku puzzles that do not have a distinct solution will notified that no distinct solution exists!

A weather application that uses OpenWeather API to load in weather data for different cities around the world. Users can search any major city around the globe to find out more about its current climate. Some specific climate information provided is temperature (F), weather conditions, percent humidity, and wind speed (mph).

A user-friendly React Native mobile application that simplifies your job search for you! Using the JSearch Ready API, this app compiles a list of jobs from your most well known job sites like LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, ZipRecruiter, and BeBee, so you don't have to spend so much time perusing the internet for work opportunities.
